Troubleshooting
- “Tableau Public requires a 64-bit operating system” — make sure you’re running a 64-bit version of Windows (most modern machines are)
- macOS security warning — if macOS blocks the app, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”
- Can’t sign in — check that you verified your email address; check your spam folder for the verification link
- Slow first launch — Tableau takes a bit longer to load the first time; give it a minute
If you run into issues not listed here, bring them to the practice session and we’ll sort it out.
